This is going to one weekend full of festivities. The Campagna Center’s iconic Scottish Christmas Walk Parade takes place on Saturday, December 1 at 11 a.m. You can view dozens of Scottish clans dressed in colorful tartans parading through the streets of Old Town. You will also experience the stirring sound of Scottish bagpipes and drums, Scottish dancers, reenactment groups, Scottie dogs (love them!), dignitaries, classic cars, Santa Claus, and much more. The parade begins at St. Asaph and Wolfe Streets and concludes at Market Square with a band concert. The parade will take place rain or shine. Click here for a link to the parade route.
More weekend events include the Taste of Scotland scotch tasting (November 30), a holiday Heather and Greens Sales (December 1) and Holiday Home Tours (December 1).
