Happy Tart Bakery is having their Grand Re-Opening on Saturday, October 14th and you won’t want to miss it! The bakery (2307 Mt Vernon Avenue) has recently reopened after closing for renovations last December.
Happy Tart is known as THE place to go for gluten-free baked goods. It was named a top gluten-free bakery in the U.S. for good reason. The owner and executive chef Emma Cech, who has two kids with Celiac disease, has found a way to bring tasty treats to everyone!
There’s lots of changes to the bakery. You will now find bright red paint on the walls, a mural leading up to the entrance, indoor seating and outdoor seating with patio heaters for the cold days.
The shop is hoping you will give their crepe offerings a try. During brunch hours, the bakery now offers a crepe/omelet combination called a “crepelet.” Another exciting new addition will be alcoholic beverages which should be available in a couple of months.
Grand re-opening festivities are scheduled for Saturday, October 14. On this day, customers can come in and enter for a chance at multiple $10 gift cards (must be present for this drawing). And they can also enter for a $50 gift card drawing (do not need to be present for this drawing).
