Get ready, this year’s tour is coming! It will take place on Saturday, September 23, from 10:00AM to 3:00PM.
Eight historic homes, all in Old Town, and within walking distance of each other, will be open. Take a walk and a look! All proceeds will benefit Inova Alexandria Hospital.
Some highlights:
A 1812 townhouse that was the first free girls’ school in America and later housed a Civil War prison
A yard where a large tree toppled in a storm has been replaced by metal trees that muffle sound and provide privacy
Tour tickets are $40 in advance and $45 on the day of the tour. Tickets are available for purchase on-line and at the Ramsay House Visitor Center.
